Colin Hackney Carpentry Bristol
If you require a small project delivered quickly e.g. hanging a door,
fitting a skirting board, I will accept a verbal booking, bring a quote for you to sign when I come to do the work and accept
payment on satisfactory completion of the job. Please note
that I am typically booked up at least one month in advance and frequently beyond that. If your project is urgent, it
is highly unlikely that I will be able to help you. For larger projects, I prefer to meet my customers. This way, I can send them
an outline of the project we discuss and price the individual elements and options. This provides you, as a customer, with
both confidence about the person conducting your work and their understanding of your requirements. After firming up any outstanding details, I will then provide a detailed formal quotation, which when signed,
will form an agreement between us with dates, prices and payment terms. On larger projects, I often require a deposit in advance
of starting the project. This is to cover the cost of materials and my time in sourcing and collecting them.
