Design and build of a child's chair that the client wanted
to give as a christening present. Handcrafted from European and American white oak using traditional tennon
and mortice construction. Finished in Danish oil.
Replacement Sash Windows
Replacement of aluminium windows with traditional
box sashes, hand built from Douglas fir. Incorporating 18mm argon-filled double glazed units, weather seals,
lockable window furniture and traditional moudings and sash cords. All the beauty of a traditional box
sash, with the environmental benefits of double glazing and weather seals.
Terrace Doors
Design and build of hardwood, custom-sized terrace doors. Built
using the African hardwood, sapele. Fitted with high quality, hand-made, traditional door fittings.
Terrace doors, deck and furniture
Project to design an outdoor space including a raised decked
area on a 6 x 2 frame, supported by 4 x 4 oak posts that were concreted in to the ground. Hardwood terrace doors were added
to a new extension and the look was completed with individually designed outdoor planters and furniture, made from
reclaimed timbers.
Design and refit of Franco's Barber's Shop
Re-design of Franco's Barber's shop, off Gloucester
Road, Bristol. Design and build of bespoke walnut interior for total re-fit including cupboards, shelving, storage
and fixed seating. The challenge was to create high-quality furniture that was functional for the business within a fairly
