carpenter joiner bristol bath colin hackney
design
– sash window restoration - doors - windows – cabinet making – kitchen and bathroom fitting – bespoke projects - furniture making
- hardwoods – softwoods – reclaimed timber Introduction Carpentry
or joinery of any type requires quality craftsmanship, regardless of the size and complexity of the project. This need
not be hugely expensive; it is about finding somebody with the right experience, an understanding of, and passion for, the
material that they are working with, as well as an uncompromising attention to detail.
As a sole trader, my
reputation is everything; a consistently excellent standard of work provides customer references that are far more reliable
than expensive advertising. I love my work and operate from either my home or on site depending on the project. This means
that you only pay for the work that I do and the materials used, rather than contribute to expensive business overheads.
While
my dream project might perhaps be to design and build a bespoke piece of furniture from reclaimed timber, the reality is that
as a specialist woodworker, my daily living is largely made up of more regular carpentry and joinery work like hanging doors,
restoring sash windows, installing kitchens and laying wooden floors. These things command just as much attention to quality and detail.
If
you are looking for somebody to deliver a woodwork project, whether it’s fitting skirting boards or designing a unique
kitchen, I am happy to discuss your requirements with you in an honest way. If I feel that somebody else can better meet your
requirements, I will gladly point you in the right direction as I have nothing to gain from either over-committing or under-delivering.
N.B. Please note my new address below. I have moved from Montpelier, Bristol
to North East Somerset. The majority of my regular clients are in BS6/BS8 and I still cover these and the surrounding
areas. I also now provide services in Bath and North and North East Somerset.
